Crud

27 Feb

I really thought,

I was going to make it through the winter,

without being felled by the flu.

I was wrong.

It hit me with a gale force last weekend,

and I have spent the entire week trying to bounce back.

It has not been easy.

So rather than a post full of wit and charm and delicious food,

I have some pretty pictures for you.

Two weekends ago we went to Clermont and pretended we were wealthy Columbia County patroons.

It was fun.

Happy weekend!

Hope you feel better soon. Everyone’s getting sick this month. Ugh.

Oh, the photos were really nice. But they’re no fun if you’ve been sick for a week! Do get better quickly!

Flu is the worst and it does take time to bounce back. Hope you feel better!

Pictures are wonderful as always. I’ve already gone back to check the blue in the sky on the first picture twice now. Gorgeous!

Oh Ann, I got hit with it about a month ago and boy, did I go DOWN! So I understand what you’re going through, and send you sympathies and wishes for a speedy recovery! You did more than I could have done, though. You managed to post something. And, as ever, the photos are glorious.

New age: zinc lozenges; old standard: chicken soup. With lots of root veggies. Hope you’re on the mend soon…

Oh gosh, thank you you guys! Just reading your comments has helped me feel better :-) in fact, I am feeling a whole lot healthier. I might even get out a full-blown post this week!

I wish you all hale and hearty Marchs!
