I started a little project that will soon be coming to an end.
When we moved our offices into the Forbes building a few months ago I was shocked by how beautiful West 12th Street is.
It’s a classic West Village street; slightly sleepy, lined with gorgeous single-family brownstones and august cultural institutions. And at the end of the street, just as I’m about to duck into the subway, an expansive, breathtaking vista of the Village and most nights a beautiful sunset.
I started taking pictures as often as I could; to capture the beauty, to observe it over time. But now time is against me. You see, I’m leaving Forbes.
I’ll be starting in a very, very new place in mid-September. I can’t wait to tell you about it, but I’d like to wait until I’ve got that new ID in my hands, but, trust me, this is big.
So, until then, I’ll be the one snapping pictures like crazy at twilight on 12th Street.
yay – can’t wait to hear the big news.
Will be looking forward to the big announcement. I love these shots! The silhoueete with the contrasting sunset id beautiful! Great job.
Love the photos! They take me back to my days living in Manhattan…
Looking forward to the big “reveal”!!
So in love with this series of shots, just gorgeous. And I’m very excited for your big news!
I just recently discovered your site–via Mug. I so

Photography — Thank you! I’m a big fan. More coming soon, I promise.
Toni — Always happy to make you happy! I can’t wait to spill the beans. I realize now that a lot of people probably think that it means there’s an actual “bean” on the way, but, no, that’s not it!
Christine — Thank you! I am too. I’m going to miss this vista, but it’s *so* worth it.
Judy — Well, hello! Welcome! And thank you!! It’s nice to have you here and I’m glad you enjoy it. That makes my day :-)
